There are many good things about attending private schools. They are:1. School uniforms (No "I can't decide what to wear!", always, "Wear the blue or red.")
2. Longer school days (8 to 3:05 with public being 8:35 to 1:42 - no kidding)
3. Fewer weird days off (2nd Tuesday of each month is a 1/2 day - public every other Wed 1/2 and three weeks of early release)
4. One more week off ("Ski Week" - whatever!)
5. Social skills are expected and generally performed by each student
6. Out of school the first Wednesday of June facilitating an appropriately long summer
Things I don't like:
1. School starts on September 9th this year - WE HAVE 3 WEEKS OF SUMMER W/NO
NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS TO PLAY WITH!!
It's going to be a long 3 weeks....
8:35-1:42???? They couldn't round it off to 1:45? or 1:40? weird.
